Man what a couple months it has been. Since April I have been working with my friend Ryan, planning Just Inspired. The opening was Aug. 18th and it went off well. I think we had about 500 people there for the opening and alot of good feedback. This was really the first show I have ever planned outside my work with Artomatic 419. It was really trying at times but in the end well worth the effort. That show is up till Sept. 16th and then will be traveling on to Columbus with the addition of more artists shortly after that. More details on that coming soon. If you missed the show you can view the Flickr feed.
Back in June I joined Artomatic 419 on the Visual Art committee to help select and organize artist for the upcoming Artomatic 419 Lite show coming Sept. 15th-16th. We have been working hard to get things organized for this event. Install for artists is this weekend.
Also in August I did some artwork to be on display in the window front of an empty building in downtown Toledo. The project was headed-up by ACGT and there were many more artists involved as well. More details on that when the artwork goes on display.
On Sat. I had an art opening at Plastik Gallery in Maumee, Ohio with John Walz and that was a great time. John’s work is super cool and it was great being able to have my work next to his. There are alot of great shows planned for this gallery so keep your eye on it. Below is one of the newer pieces in the show.

And finally, I recently did some layouts for Stuck Magazine. They are a sk8, snow, wake and music mag. out of Columbus, Ohio that represent all of the midwest scenes. Total creative freedom was a great time for me. Thanks to them for the opportunity. I will post-up the spreads once the issue hits the newsstand.
So now it’s time for some time off before Artomatic 419, my hockey season starts in 3 weeks and snowboarding season is not to far behind as well.
